KARIBA Zimbabwe

Lake Kariba (actually the world’s largest man-made dam) traps the mighty Zambezi River between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Pictured in this latest African Journey Collection design of poster-prints is a pair of African Fish-Eagles with their Tigerfish catch; the skeletal remains of drowned Leadwood trees bear testimony to the flooding when the dam wall was built in the late 1950s.
